Investitionsfreude: SAP-Kunden nehmen viel Geld in die Hand
Die Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe (DSAG), zu der die Schweiz, Österreich und Deutschland gehören, befragte 323 IT-Führungskräfte. Schweizer SAP-Kunden wollen investieren. Die Ergebnisse der DSAG-Umfrage 2012.

Die Mitglieder der Deutschsprachigen SAP-Anwendergruppe (DSAG) starten bei den mobilen Anwendungen durch, hat die aktuelle DSAG-Investitionsumfrage 2012 ergeben. Über die Hälfte, etwa 57 Prozent, plant Investitionen punkto Mobility. Im Vorjahr 2011 waren es lediglich 7 Prozent.
Der Grund für den Mega-Boom: Unternehmen hätten einen Weg gefunden, in kleinen Schritten einzusteigen, schreibt die Anwendergruppe in einer Pressemiteilung. Auf geteiltes Interesse stossen jedoch die Avantgarde-Themen Cloud Computing - SAPs Cloud-ERP Business ByDesign - und die schnelle In-Memory-Appliance HANA. Nur jeweils etwa 5 Prozent der befragten Unternehmen wollen dort ihr Geld lassen.
Zu den Schwerpunkten in den Investitionsplänen der DSAG-Mitglieder zählt, wie auch schon in den vergangenen Jahren, die Integrationsplattform SAP Netweaver (Portal und Business Warehouse). Im Fokus steht dabei das Update auf die neue Version Netweaver 7.3 respektive auf einzelne Netweaver-Komponenten. "Anders als in den Vorjahren, wo es um Erwartungen punkto technologische Konsolidierung ging, sind nun neue Funktionalitäten der Grund, um einen Releasewechsel im Netweaver-Umfeld voranzutreiben", sagt Marco Lenck, Vorstandsmitglied der DSAG. Das sei für 70 Prozent der Umfrageteilnehmer so, führt Lenck weiter aus.

Ausserdem habe SAP, wie von der DSAG gefordert, mit dem neuen Netweaver 7.3 die Komplexität der Plattform reduziert, was als zusätzlicher Anreiz dient. Jetzt müsse sich das Produkt in der Praxis erweisen, meinte Lenck sybillinisch auf den DSAG-Technologietagen in Nürnberg, wo am 22. Februar die Ergebnisse der Investitionsumfrage 2012 vorgestellt wurden.
